
New Israeli-born comics writer says he’s ‘very proud’ of Israel
New Israeli comics writer Ashraf Zuker and his wife are celebrating Israel’s Jewishness, which he says is “very proud” of.
“Israel is the only country in the world where the only people with an identity that isn’t Jewish are the Jews,” Zukar told Haaretz.
“The only people who are really Jewish are Israel and the Jews are the only ones who have the right to exist, because they are the true Jews.”
The Zukars arrived in Israel from Egypt in 1995.
Zukers first comic, the critically acclaimed and critically acclaimed A World Without Jews, won a 2016 Jerusalem Comics Awards Award.
It was the first comic to win an awards show at the prestigious Jerusalem Comics Festival.
The Zukes are also proud of the city they call home, with which they were raised and raised.
They have three daughters and are expecting twins.
“It’s a very unique and very proud moment to be in Israel,” said Zukur.
“Israel is one of the most unique and most wonderful places in the Middle East.
It’s a place that I grew up with my father and my mother and that’s where I want to live.””
I want to go to a place where we can be Jewish,” said Ashraf.
“We’ve been here for 30 years, we’ve never had a problem.”
The couple are also keen to visit Israel in the near future.
“It’s so beautiful,” said Zeidan.
“There are so many things that we love about Israel and that we’re going to see here.”
