Vanya umbrella school to open in Melbourne, NSW
Vanya Academy is set to open a new school in Melbourne’s north.
The school is set for a 1.4-acre site in the suburbs of Parramatta, near the intersection of Atherton Road and East Gippsland Street.
“The facility is designed for young people in the early stages of their education and will provide an opportunity to engage in sports and other activities,” Vanya said in a statement.
“It is a strong fit for our mission of building a strong foundation for the future, particularly for our young people and those in their families.”
We are thrilled to welcome our first students and hope to be able to serve many students in the coming months.
“Vanya Academy was established in 2012, but it has been in a state of flux since then, with some staff leaving the academy and others moving to another school in the area.
Vanya has a number of sports centres, including the football academy, where it trains its young players in the off-season.
The academy also offers a sports and fitness program.
Its football team is in the top 10 in the state, while its women’s team is the best in the country.
